POLICIES:
FRONT DESK HOURS: Reception is staffed from 8:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. daily for all customer service. Security Patrol: 7 pm to 8 am. Security will assist with late-night check-ins and limited customer requests.
CHECK IN-: 200 p.m. - 7:00 p.m. (Please let us know if you need to check in after 7 p.m. We will arrange this with security up to 10 p.m.
CHECK OUT: It is at 12 mid-days. All guests MUST vacate the property at 12 noon. A $10 an-hour penalty will automatically be charged to your room on your credit card on file if you do not check out at noon.
EARLY CHECK-IN: Based on availability, we offer early check-in from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. for $10 per hour.
· LATE CHECKOUTS ARE ONLY OFFERED ON SUNDAY! This must be pre-arranged and pre-paid at $10 per person from 12 noon to 5 pm only.
· LUGGAGE STORAGE: Free Luggage storage is offered from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. before check-in for guests only. This will be stored in our communal room next to the lobby. NO LUGGAGE STORAGE after checkout
PLEASE NOTE: We do not offer early use of the common areas or pools. Luggage is left at the owner’s risk.
EARLY DEPARTURE: If you must depart early before your check-out date, please inform the front desk day manager or after-hours security guard, and submit your key to them. There is NO refund for any early departure.
EARLY CHECK-IN: Based on availability, we offer early check-in from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. for $10 per hour.
ROOM CHANGE POLICY: If you have any issues with your room not functioning properly, please report all maintenance issues to the day front manager or night guard. If we cannot solve the issue in a timely fashion, we will offer you a room change subject to availability.
HOUSEKEEPING: We provide 1 bath towel per person upon check in. Rooms are cleaned/turned over every 3rd night. We do provide towel exchange at the front desk for dirty towels upon request. Please hang your towels to dry with the clothesline provided on the beachfront back patios and door hooks in standard rooms. During the holiday week our towel service is limited we appreciate the reuse of towels during peak seasons.
ADDITIONAL CHARGES:
Extra Adult $15 per person per night plus tax
Extra Children (12 to 3 years old) are $10 per night plus tax.
· Children of any age are allowed.
· Children up to 4 years old stay free when using an existing bed. Children from 5 years old to 17 years old stay for US$10 per child per night plus tax.
· No cots are available, and no extra beds are available. (Please Note: Family Rooms have 2 queen beds and 1 single bed)
UPGRADE ROOM FEES: If you wish to upgrade to a beachfront room the fee is $25 per night upon availability.
WIFI: This is available in all areas and is free of charge.
RULES & FINES:
· NO RESTAURANT/BAR SERVICE. We provide a communal sitting area for guests to eat small, packed meals.
· NO COOKING: We do not allow any cooking of food on the property or in any of the rooms. A FINE OF $100 will occur on your credit card, and you will be asked to vacate the property without compensation.
· NO LOUD MUSIC/POOL PROTOCALS: The pools are here for all our guests to enjoy. NO LOUD MUSIC, NO BOOM BOXES, NOGLASS, OR FOOD CONTAINERS. If you are disturbing the guests, we will ask you to leave without compensation. Fines will be up to $250 for any damage and, or disturbances. Police Security will escort all unruly parties from the property without compensations.
· NO STORAGE of food, medicines, or any other perishables at the front desk. You must rent a room with a mini fridge if you need important items cooled.
· LATE CHECKOUTS FINES: This must be pre-paid and pre-arranged with the front desk. A $10 per person FINE will occur on your credit card from 12 noon to 5 pm only.
· NO SMOKING: This property must follow the health regulations of the country; we do not allow smoking or vaping or hookahs of any kind on the property or in the rooms. A FINE OF $100 will occur on your credit card if you are reported smoking anywhere on this property. We offer smoking designated areas on the beach as per Costa Rican laws.
· MANDATORY WRIST BANDS ON PROPERTY: Every guest must wear a mandatory wristband upon check-in while staying on the property. Failure to wear your wristband could lead to a FINE of $50 and you will be asked to depart early.
· FREE PARKING FOR REGISTERED GUESTS ONLY: All cars must vacate the land at the check-out time or suffer FINES of up to $20 per hour. All guests with cars must register their plate number with the front desk for security.
· LARGE VECHICLES: Large vehicles must use caution while entering the front gate and parking area. Street parking is available for large tour buses due to limited space and visibility.
· HEALTH & ACCIDENTS: We recommend that all guests have their own accident insurance policies for their health and personal property, cars must have their own liability insurance.
· THEFT or DAMAGE: The hotel is not responsible for theft or damage to any cars or personal belongings. All guests should travel with their travel liability insurance as the hotel is not responsible for any theft or devious actions about any loss of guest personal property in any buildings or on common grounds.
· DOG POLICY: Please refer to the standard dog-friendly room policy in our room description on the web site. We Do NOT rent dog friendly rooms on any extranets, only through our web site. www.bbrjcr.com
