Policies & Rules: 2018 & 2019

Beach Break Resort reserves the rights to cancel any reservation due to fraudulent information placed on this web site or any extranet system.

Valid ID & Credit Card:  All clients must produce a valid ID & credit card upon their arrival at check in.

Security: Security has the right to remove unruly guests at their discretion without compensation. Guests will respect the No Smoking Policies of the country along with the Noise Violation rules of the hotel. The hotel is not responsible for inaccurate information, pricing or mechanical failure beyond its control in the operation of this web site. 

All rates and fees are to be confirmed in writing in an email to the reservations department for the final approval of this bill.

The Refund Policy is: * First night stay is non refundable up to 7 days of check in date.
* No refunds are given within 7 days of your check in date.
* No refunds are given if a guest checks out early.

Lost Items: We are not responsible for lost or stolen items on our property. We recommend all guests to obtain the appropriate travel & medical insurance before departing from their country.

Injury: The hotel is not responsible or liable for any injury to our guests upon their stay at the hotel. We will assist our guests in receiving proper medical care. The hotel carries insurance but is requesting all guests to purchase medical coverage prior to leavening their country of origin.  Beach Break Resort and Costa Rica Surf Camp by SUPERbrand are not liable for guest’s injuries on or off the property.     

Front Desk Schedule:
Open daily, Monday to Sunday 6:00am to 10:00pm
In the event you need something outside these hours please call Security on our local phone system at #252
Check in: 2:00 pm & Check out is 12:00 noon. In the event you check out late there will be a $10 per hour charge for late check out.

Pool Towels/ Room Towels: Guests will be provided with one pool towel per guest in their room by the housekeeping person. Please re use your pool towel by hanging it to dry as the maid will only change this towel every second or third day. Hang your towels to dry. If you want them changed please put them in a pile on the bed.  In the event you lose the pool towels there will be a $10 per towel fee placed on your room bill. The fee for damaged or missing towels ranges from $5 to $20 a towel depending on size. PLEASE DO NOT: remove your make up or sunscreen on the white towels as this will result in stains.

Room Key: In the event you lose your room key $10 will be charged to your room bill upon your departure.

Safety Deposit Box: All of our rooms have a safety deposit box. The cost for this is $3 a day plus tax. In the event you lose your key there will be a charge of $85 will be charged to your room bill. We do not have copies of the key so please keep it safe. In the event you lose your key the security company must be called to come to the hotel to open the box.

Internet: Internet Service: Wireless internet is available throughout the hotel and in the rooms. This is included in your stay.

ID & General Rules:

• Upon your arrival you will receive a waterproof bracelet to show our staff & security you are a guest of our hotel. In the event you break the bracelet please bring the broken bracelet to the front desk for a replacement.
• Also friends of guests must be registered and show valid ID to the front desk. If a guest wants to use the resort facilities a $20 a day pass can be purchased at reception.
• The dress codes is casual but please respect the health of others and wear footwear in all public places along with shirts in the restaurant.
• We are a pet friendly hotel. If you have a pet here with us please respect our leash law and pick up after your dog at all times.

 DOGS: There is a $15 per day fee for dogs. Small Breads only please. We allow one dog only per room. If your dog defecates on the grounds or in a room and you do not clean up after your dog. You will be asked to leave the hotel without compensation .Dogs are not to be left unattended in rooms & common areas. DOGS ARE NOT PERMITTED: In the restaurant area, tied or placed on common furniture. Please respect the gardens, Do not leave your dog unattended at any time.

Smoking: This is a non smoking environment under Costa Rican law. Please refrain from smoking in public areas and in your room. There is a $100 fine if you smoke in your room or are reported smoking around the rooms and buildings.  All guests Included in your stay:  Breakfast, WIFI throughout, Parking & One pool towel per guest located in your room.  Kitchen Hours: OPEN:  7:00 am till 9:30 pm.

Meal Plan Guests have Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner & Local Drinks included.

·         Breakfast: 7:00 am to 9:30 am.

·         Lunch: 12:00 pm to 2:00 pm.

·         Dinner: 6:00 pm to 9:00 pm.

All Meals are served in Waves Bar & Grill. Depending on our season this will be served either buffet style or from the Menu. Bar Schedule: Beach Bar: 11:00am to 10pm
Upper Pool Bar: 11:00am to 5:30pm
 (Open Friday to Sunday  May to November & Open daily  December to April.)   

Meal Plan with Drinks: Local Alcohol, Guaro, Rum, Gin, Tequila, Whisky, Vodka & Wine National Beers:, Imperial , Imperial light, Silver & Pilsen  Cocktails: Piña Colada, Daiquiris, Margaritas, Cuba Libre, Screwdriver.   Also cold fruit drinks and water is available from the drink dispenser in the restaurant. All blended drinks will be served between the hours of 11:00am to 9:00pm
